Feeding Our Neighbors

Too many of our neighbors in Dutchess County struggle to find the money each month to feed their families and many children are going to bed hungry.

We can help you get food on an emergency basis from area Food Pantries and Soup Kitchens. We offer a special Dietary Needs Food Pantry the first and third Thursdays of the month from 10AM-12 noon,  for those with diabetes and high blood pressure to have access to low-sodium and high protein items to balance their nutritional needs.

Our highly trained staff can also help you find ways to stretch your budget to feed your family nutritious food every month.

Many working people are eligible for SNAP (formerly known as Food Stamps) or other benefit programs and we are here to help you apply online the same day.

We also offer training to volunteers, food pantry coordinators and other concerned individuals about the SNAP program and how to help others gain food security. If you’re interested in donating to our food pantry, read our list of suggested food items.
