Who are we?

HVCDC is an office of Catholic Charities Community Services. We serve the Catholic Deaf Community in the northern counties of the Archdiocese of New York through Spiritual, Social, and Catechetical Programs using the medium of American Sign Language. In addition to Program Services, we network with Catholic Charities Community Services of Dutchess County for Case Management and Social Services.

In the spirit of the gospel, we welcome Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing persons of all faith traditions to access any of our programs and services. Our office is located at The Catholic Center, 218 Church Street, Poughkeepsie and our staff is mobile throughout our service area.
